Hair Loss Radio Show Shines Bright Light on FDA 'Cleared' Laser Comb

On Sunday August 26th, The Bald Truth, the official radio program of The American Hair Loss Association held a debate between two of the most respected medical experts in the field concerning the validity of today's most controversial treatment for hair loss.

Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) September 6, 2007 -- The Bald Truth, the official radio program of the American Hair Loss Association, shines a very bright light into the dark corners of the 3.5 billion dollar a year hair loss industry, questioning the validity of low-level laser light therapy (LLLT) for the treatment of hair loss.

it's vital for hair loss consumers to empower themselves with the facts and not just marketing hype in order to make an informed decision when seeking effective treament for their hair loss. The Bald Truth gets to the core of the issue.
International Alliance of Hair Restoration Surgeons' (IAHRS) members, Dr. Alan Bauman and Dr. Alan Feller, go head to head debating the therapy's value as an effective hair loss treatment.

Dr. Alan Bauman, the country's leading LLLT proponent, reports that in his practice low-level laser light therapy results in a small but significant amount of hair growth, as well as the improvement of hair texture. He argues that even a 10 percent increase in hair density can have a tremendous impact on the hair loss sufferer's appearance, and well being.

Dr. Alan Feller, believes that LLLT has no value whatsoever as a hair loss treatment, and cautions hair loss sufferers against waisting their time or money.

International best selling author and founder of The American Hair Loss Association Spencer Kobren, hosts this eye opening debate and says, " it's vital for hair loss consumers to empower themselves with the facts and not just marketing hype in order to make an informed decision when seeking effective treament for their hair loss. The Bald Truth gets to the core of the issue."

The Bald Truth airs live every Sunday night at 8pm EST on radio stations nationwide (check your local listings), and on XM Satellite Radio channel 152.
