Members of Care.com can use the iPhone application to search for local caregivers and post jobs to find nearby babysitters, nannies, in-home senior care aides, pet sitters and more. Members can also use the app to review care provider profiles and add them to a list of favorites, reserving them for future use. Users can also send and receive messages to care providers through the application, eliminating the need to log in to the main Care.com website.

As a special feature, the Care.com iPhone application also gives members access to Care-on-Call. Care-on-Call is an added, free service for subscribers, helping them find last-minute care. When a family is in a pinch--a regular babysitter calls in sick, a child care center closes, or a work schedule changes suddenly--they can file a Care-on-Call request. Care.com then sends the job post out via text messages and emails to a pre-selected list of local caregivers who have flexible schedules and are willing to work at a moment's notice.
