Fuelhaus Website Launch Changes the Way You Experience The Internet

Fuelhaus is out to change the way that you experience the internet. This San Diego “funk-a-fresh” design studio has launched a website that allows you to choose your website style with the click of a mouse.

San Diego, CA (PRWEB) August 22, 2006 -- Fuelhaus is out to change the way that you experience the internet. Their trademarked "funk-a-fresh style guide" uses custom developed CSS and PHP scripts to completely change the website’s look and feel with the quick click of a mouse.

Visitors choose between quirky styles like "Tweeny Bopper", "White Bread" or "Classic" design. With one click the website’s color, type styles and headlines change to reflect the new style. Content stays consistent with the use of custom built PHP scripts. The result is a website that is fast, fun, fresh and indicative of the design haus that developed it.

Fuelhaus loves the speed, logic and control that CSS design provides... so we decided to incorporate it into the redesign of our site.
Fuelhaus' new website showcases their fresh approach to today's marketing challenges. “Fuelhaus loves the speed, logic and control that CSS design provides... so we decided to incorporate it into the redesign of our site." says Fuelhaus Wünderwoman, Kellie Schroeder.

"While we were researching the redesign, we landed on CSS Zen Garden, an experimental CSS design site. We decided to push their ideas further by applying the Zen Garden principals to a complete, functioning site.”

For Fuelhaus, the website defines their brand. “Fuelhaus is a design studio." Schroeder says, "Highlighting fresh, creative design and the latest trends is part of our job. Our new website will let us "plug in" a new look without having to recreate the entire site.”

The site took about six months to develop in the wee hours of the night. Web designer Donovan Mafnas developed the PHP and CSS scripts from scratch to dynamically load styles and content. The website launched with three basic styles, but plans are in the works for more.

“Now that the architecture is in place, we plan on pushing the design within those parameters." Says Donovan, "Wih this website, the possibilities are endless.”

Fuelhaus is a San Diego high-end graphic design firm specializing in brand identity, product naming and positioning for print and the web.Founded in 1994, Fuelhaus enjoys a national client base of medium to Fortune 500 companies.
