Operation Love announces a Great Christmastime storyThe Time for Peace Initiative.

Future Nobel Peace Prize Laureates? Perhaps so.

WASHINGTON (Business Wire EON/PRWEB ) December 20, 2007 -- The Time for Peace Initiative, a project by Operation Love, will be the establishment of multiple four-sided, vertical steel, sculpture-type structured clock towers, which will be located in any given city, in any given country, for the distinct purpose of promoting world peace.

There are monuments and memorials dedicated to wars -- so why not ones dedicated to the pursuit of peace.
These unique in design, state-of-the-art TimePeaces will stand approximately three stories high and be positioned to face the four cardinal directions. On each side there will be seven large clocks, each representing the time in each capital city of the country facing in that particular direction. The flags of each of those nations will be scaled-to-size on the face of each clock. The clocks will be traditional sweep-face, with a digital read-out beneath each clock indicating the city, time/am or pm and date. All the clock towers, in each location globally, will chime in unison at noon local time each day, indicating a time to reflect on global peace.

Operation Love is currently asking world renowned architect, Frank Gehry, to design their first TimePeace. Bose sound company will build a custom-made sound system which will toll the pre-recorded chimes. Operation Love is in the process of obtaining permission from the band, Pink Floyd, to utilize the opening series of chimes from their song, Time, from, Dark Side of the Moon, as thee chimes which will sound. Operation Love is also working with Electric Time Company, Inc. and Daktronics on all aspects of design.

A donation box will be built into each structure for contributions. Each time a Dollar, Euro, etc. is inserted a different short series of chimes will toll. These structures will be computer friendly, in that, any visitor can log-in and sign a petition calling for world peace. Other features to be announced.

Operation Love is anticipating the first tower being commemorated in Washington DC by Christmas 2008.

Operation Love invites all like-minded people and corporate sponsors to join them in this innovative venture.

There are monuments and memorials dedicated to wars -- so why not ones dedicated to the pursuit of peace.
