Gives Back”
LOS ANGELES (Business Wire EON/PRWEB ) April 17, 2008 --
Last night, Ryan Seacrest announced that limited-edition “AMERICAN
IDOL” PhotoStamps featuring Ruben Studdard are
now available. This follows last week’s
program launch with the debut of Kelly Clarkson PhotoStamps. Net
proceeds from the sales of the exclusive PhotoStamps will benefit IDOL
GIVES BACK.
The unique collectable “AMERICAN IDOL”
postage will honor previous winners Kelly Clarkson, Ruben Studdard,
Fantasia, Carrie Underwood, Taylor Hicks and Jordin Sparks, as well as
the soon-to-be-decided Season Seven winner. PhotoStamps featuring Ruben
Studdard and Kelly Clarkson are currently available at www.americanidol.com
and www.photostamps.com. Future
issues, featuring a different Idol every week, will be available online
on Tuesdays for the next five weeks.
“AMERICAN IDOL”
postage will feature exclusive designs for each of the 50 states. Only
100,000 sheets of PhotoStamps will be issued weekly, and each state will
have its own design featured on 2,000 of the sheets. “AMERICAN
IDOL” PhotoStamps are first-class rate
postage valued at 42 cents each, and each sheet (20 PhotoStamps per
sheet) will retail for $19.99.
