Take A Break From the Elections; IMS Expert Advise on the Best Sun and Beach Destinations

Tourism and travel expert David Zynert at IMS understands that the people are getting tired of elections and need an escape, so that is why he has put together a list of the best sun, relax and culture destinations in Spain.

Barcelona, Spain (PRWEB) March 19, 2008 -- David Zynert, IMS: According to euromonitor.com, Spain continues to occupy the second position in the world for both the number of tourists received and by value sales. The number of US visitors to Spain has increased during the last couple of years and there are speculations that this is a result of confidence in foreign travel for the first time after 9/11 and that US are becoming accustomed to living under the threat of terrorism. This is only a speculation, but it is true that Spain is becoming more popular not only for European visitors, but as well for the US.

On Mr. Zynert's recommendation, now is the best time to visit Spain as the Easter is over the prices are more competitive and the weather is nice. As there aren't a lot of tourists at this time, you might as well have the whole beach for yourself until June.

Hereunder Mr. Zynert, has made a top list of the Spanish cities that he recommends to visit.

1.-Seville: This famous city in the south part of Spain called Andalusia is the heart of Spain. Seville is a very typical Spanish city with narrow streets and white houses. You can feel the rhythm of flamenco in the air and maybe see one of the polemical bullfights. Why not give oneself a treat and stay in a hotel Seville! For those that are planning a trip now might as well come in time to see the "feria de abril", which is one of the most visited fiestas in Spain.

2.-Tenerife: Why not spend time in one of the paradises in the world? According to Mr. Zynert this is one of the most beautiful islands in the world. Walking on the beach in the sunset is one of the most romantic things to do, and when one gets tired of getting sand in the shoes, the hotel jacuzzi in one of the hotels that you can find on hotel bookings Tenerife comes in handy. One might come back home as a new person ;)

3.-Valencia: Paella is the most known word in Valencia. For those who haven't tried this delicious dish made of rice, saffron and shellfish should do it now! And after a day at the beach you can go and take a refreshment in one of the hundreds bars in the city. Mr. Zynert recommends you to stay in one of the central hotels in Valencia that you can find here hotel in Valencia so that you find your way home afterwards.

4.-Malaga: the birthplace of Picasso and Antonio Banderas and situated right on the Costa del Sol, Malaga is a great place to go to get tanned. Also a great place for shopping and it is lovely to stay in one of the hotels in Malaga

5.- Platja d Aro: Located in the heart of Costa Brava and is one of the most popular holiday resorts. The hotel in platja d aro is almost always full, so it is good to plan the trip with time.
