Helping students realize their potential, the TRiO Programs, which include Upward Bound, Gear UP, and Educational Talent Search, assist first-generation college students and students from disadvantaged backgrounds progress through the academic pipeline from middle school through post-baccalaureate programs. Since 1999, Travel Adventures has been partnering with TRiO programs to provide innovative educational student tours for hundreds of thousands of students and educators. Their experience includes more than 200 trips for Upward Bound, Upward Bound Math and Science, Talent Search, and Gear UP, to name a few. Tours combine culture, art, and science to prepare students for an education beyond high school, as well as visits to key colleges and universities around the country.

Additionally, Travel Adventures works with the Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU) around the country to schedule tours at these institutions.
