Bridgeborn Names Knuth as New Chief Operating Officer
Knuth to manage day-to-day operations of the company, define long term strategy and implement strategic sales initiatives.
(Vocus/PRWEB ) September 7, 2007 -- Bridgeborn, a leading systems design, engineering and integration company, today announced that Robert "Bob" Knuth has joined the company as Chief Operating Officer effective August 6, 2007. Knuth, formerly a Senior Business Development lead at General Dynamics, will report to President and CEO Tim Ambrosino and the Board of Directors. In this role, Knuth will provide strategic vision and leadership for Bridgeborn and implement a long term strategic sales and growth plan.

Knuth brings 23 years of leadership and management experience gained from government service and commercial industry both domestically and internationally. Prior to Bridgeborn, Bob was a Senior Business Development lead for General Dynamics, a Fortune 100 company, where he was responsible for creating and executing strategic sales initiatives. Knuth also held the position of Director of Federal Alliances for Groove Networks (sold to Microsoft) under Ray Ozzie. Bob has received numerous awards and recognitions. Most notably, during his tenure as a senior civilian supporting Joint Forces Command, Knuth was awarded the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Joint Meritorious Civilian Service Medal for his efforts as one of the original members responsible for establishing the Nations Joint Experimentation Program.
