Seasoned Industry Executive Hired to Help Growing California Company Meet Demand

SAN FRANCISCO (Business Wire EON/PRWEB ) January 24, 2008 -- In response to rapidly growing demand created in part by the explosive growth in the green building products market, Vetrazzo has hired Bob Paradiso, a seasoned industry professional, to be their new Vice President of Sales.

With over 30 years in the surfaces industry, Paradiso will help lead Vetrazzo to record growth and new markets across the country. Prior to joining Vetrazzo, Paradiso served as Vice President of Sales and Marketing for CaesarStone, producer of quartz countertop surfaces. In this position he helped the company expand nationwide and become a leading brand in quartz surfaces.

Paradiso’s prior experience also includes a long stint with the Formica Corporation where he held various leadership positions, including Business Manager for Decorative Products, Director of Sales, and ultimately Vice President Sales & Marketing for the Solid Surface Division.

Vetrazzo, which produces the greenest countertop material on the market, is aggressively expanding its distribution network to meet national demand. Currently available through distributors in 15 states, Paradiso’s mandate is to establish successful distribution partnerships across the United States and Canada by the end of 2008. “Quartz has had a tremendous run in the countertop market, but” says Paradiso, “the overwhelming new buying criterion is ‘green’ and Vetrazzo is exceptionally well positioned to lead the market in the category of eco-friendly surface materials.”
